Greetings and happy almost-summer-solstice. Here’s a cute 4-minute video piece on a project I was involved with at a local elementary school. These kids rocked my world:

  1. I am extremely inspired by your art work and appreciate it very much. In a college class of mine we were required to pick an art work that inspired us and research it and from the San Jose Museum of Art I came across the Midway: Message from the Gyre. I have learned and am learning so much about the negative impact of plastic pollution. There are turtle, whales, sea otters and even cows in India who die because they ingested plastic substances or chocked on them. Thank you for doing such a great thing and informing the world on such issues. I am looking forward to the movie and hopefully the light you are shinning on this issue grows brighter. I support you. Sometimes it does take seeing an issue in order to make a change.

  3. Inspiring! Imagine these mosaics installed as exhibits at schools & shopping centers, especially along the coast! What is that waterproof material used to bind mosaic murals? Could a local art school apply that to preserve their albatross sculpture for outdoor installation? Of course, a sign with your photograph would be great too.

Also, I see you have several licenses available for non-profits and educational uses. Thank you! Could you create a government license encouraging cities to use one of your images on their "Please do not litter" signs? Instead they could say "Litter kills"...
